World-Class Subsea Systems 

 

OneSubsea™ production systems have been installed worldwide in a myriad of environments ranging from deepwater and shallow-water applications to field architectures of various capacities. Formed through a unique partnership between Cameron and Schlumberger companies, OneSubsea delivers integrated solutions, products, systems, and services for the subsea oil and gas market.

 

Cameron’s Flow Control expertise, process technologies, world-class manufacturing and aftermarket capabilities combined with Schlumberger’s petro-technical leadership, reservoir and production technology, and R&D capabilities allows OneSubsea to provide integrated solutions to the challenges faced by its customers. In fact, less than one month after OneSubsea opened its doors in June 2013, the company was awarded a $500 million contract to supply subsea equipment for Chevron’s Rosebank development in the UK North Sea. OneSubsea has also been awarded contracts for developments in offshore Congo, Australia, and Egypt.

 

OneSubsea comes from a long history supplying innovative technologies in Brazil. Cameron established a joint-venture in the mid-1980s with a Brazilian company, and in 1998 opened a state-of-the-art facility in the city of Taubate, supplying more than 260 subsea trees to the Brazilian market. A Macaé facility followed in 2003, providing aftermarket support to Petrobras and other Brazilian customers. Building on its reputation for quality, reliability, and field support, OneSubsea has expanded these facilities to meet market demand.

 

As OneSubsea continues to collaborate with clients to provide the optimal field development solution over the life of the field, such as the Pre-Salt in Brazil, the need for processing technology on the seabed will increase. The company’s leadership in seabed processing and boosting will play an important role in the development of these new fields while, in tandem, enhance recovery from existing fields.
