“We welcome Brazilian SME's to Contact us"
October 3, 2014
Said Ms. Jana Dotschkal, Regional Manager in Brazil, “We welcome Brazilian SMEs to contact us to learn about our members and to inform us on the Brazilian market in order to foster new business relationships and help strengthen existing ones. We also welcome Brazilian companies to become a member of the LAV.”
The LAV recognizes the challenges of doing business in a foreign country such as Brazil, but Mr. Christoph Schmitt, General Manager, concluded, “Brazil is a big market with a lot of potential.”
Established in 1916 by merchants from Hamburg and Bremen, Germany, the Lateinamerika Verein e.V. (LAV) helps business from various industries to establish and expand their presence in Latin America and the Caribbean.
As a networking and information platform, the LAV organizes events and produces publications to promote economic and social relations between Germany and Latin America.
Notably, their annual Latin America Day has hosted former President of Brazil Luíz Inácio “Lula” da Silva and will welcome Chilean President Michelle Bachelet as this year’s guest of honor.
