October 3, 2014
As a family owned company since 1993, SOWITEC was the first to develop wind farms in Southern Germany. It is also one of the biggest project developers in Brazil with over fifty employees working on the solar and wind projects. SOWITEC is committed to knowledge transfer and the Brazilian market. As a company with high vertical integration, the local companies with local specialists combine Brazilian know-how with technical knowledge from SOWITECs German headquarters.
Catering to this mentality, Mr. Matthias Pfister, Managing Director of SOWITEC do Brasil explained, “Joint acquisition of know-how is key, as each employee has a very specific knowledge. We have a very interdisciplinary team so everybody learns from everyone and this is the philosophy that is behind it. It is an exchange of knowledge.”
