Webasto Supports Brazil through its Gaurarema Facility

Since the start of the market activities in 2009, Webasto Roof Systems has seen a sharp increase in demand for sunroofs in Brazil. Through their local presence in Guararema, São Paulo, Webasto is serving their local partners and supporting premium car manufacturers as they arrive in Brazil.

 

Mr. Jürgen Kneissler, Managing Director at Webasto Roof Systems Brasil Ltda explains, “As the level of income and quality is increasing in Brazil, our clients search for specific solutions, which is why you must be present locally.” Mr. Kneissler continued, “We find custom solutions for local platforms, this is how we became a world market leader.”Seeing a trend in panoramic sunroofs, Webasto provided this to the first car introduced locally with this feature, the Fiat Palio in 2011.
