Today, with nearly twenty years of experience, Machado merges marketing theories into a cultural bridge model that has brought success to many multinational organizations. Most recently, Machado worked with Daimler’s high-performance brand, AMG, to promote and differentiate AMG vis-à-vis major competitors Porsche and Lamborghini. Machado Consulting also serves as the in-house trainer for Audi, Volkswagen, and Daimler as the companies look to build their presence in Latin America.

 

“I am responsible for preparing the employees through intercultural change management including training, coaching, and consultancy,” explained Ms. Machado. “The focus of my work is the synergy of contingencies. Germans and Brazilians each have their ways of working, but can be very complementary. My job is to bring them together, to bring the best out in each other and make it work. It's about making the process better by improving and implementing a process which is effective for both parties.”

 

Beyond the auto industry, Machado recently worked with Deutscher Fussball-Bund (DFB), the single largest sports federation in the world, responsible for the national football team in Germany, Machado was responsible for making cultural preparations for the entire management team previous to the World cup in Brazil, that set them up for a very successful participation. As part of the project, Machado also provided communication strategy consultancy with Brazil.
