BMI owns the most important web portal for students wishing to study abroad (www.vivamundo.com.br) as well as organizes Salão do Estudante which is the largest and most important international education fair in Brazil. The event which was also the first fair in Brazil began in 1995 and now takes place in twice a year – March & September - in 10 different state capitals.

 

Each year, over 90,000 students, professionals, and parents visit Salão do Estudante to visit over 400 educational institutions from over 23 countries. Almost every type of educational institution is represented as well as almost every major agencia de intercambio in Brasil.

 

BMI also organizes the Brazilian Higher Education Workshop that connects International Institutions with Brazilian universities in order to establish agreements that increase the opportunities for Brazilians to study abroad as part of an exchange program or as part of the Brazilian Government Scholarship program. Due to the great demand for overseas higher education courses, BMI launched the Salão do Universitario fairs in 2012 which have been a huge success and will expand to five cities in March 2015.

 

In addition to these specialist fairs, BMI was selected to operate the prestigious Euro Pós fair on behalf of DAAD (German Academic Exchange Program), Campus France, and Nuffic Neso. This is the most important event for higher education in Europe and will take place in São Paulo in November.
