The university ensures that international students are well integrated into campus life, and many choose to enroll in on-campus English classes and participate in organized social activities with local American students. The school recently hosted a successful World Cup party attracting students from across campus to come together engaging in several Brazil themed activities. International students also enjoy the semiannual trip one of the country’s most popular destinations, Niagara Falls, in addition to an annual International Festival, and regular outings to the local markets in nearby Rochester, N.Y.

Associate Director of International Student Services and Recruitment, Aleta Anthony, described the enthusiasm American students express toward incoming international students: “Our students have formally mentored the new international students that are coming in. They help them with our orientation for the new students. They have even inspired us to do more programming for the students because they are so outgoing and they have great ideas and are always willing to help out to make those functions happen.”
