Brazil and the US Develop Education Partnerships

Brazil’s rapidly developing economy and creative, hard-working population have American universities looking toward a future of Brazilian-American collaboration. With a new wave of globalization in fields such as agriculture, petroleum engineering, and public health, Americans are seizing the opportunity to collaborate with their Brazilian peers at the undergraduate, graduate, and faculty levels.

 

New bilateral partnerships are arising in the form of: undergraduate study abroad programs; language and teacher training; exchanges in medicine, business, and law; and groundbreaking scientific research aimed at working toward solutions to global challenges.

On a 2013 delegation to Chile, Drexel President John Fry signed MOU's with several universities including PUC Rio, Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, and the University of São Paulo.
