Research Programs
August 1, 2014
International, experiential learning is an invaluable component of any successful student’s education. Universities participating in the Brazil Scientific Mobility Program strive to offer all students the opportunity to incorporate research and internships into their program; placements range from on-campus research under the tutelage of faculty advisors to off-campus internship placements with corporate partners. Many American universities maintain collaborative exchange partnerships with Brazilian universities, enabling students and faculty to jointly participate in important research in the STEM fields. In addition, several major international programs operate in conjunction with the BSMP:
-
The Fulbright Student and Scholar Programs
-
The Alcoa Foundation Advancing Sustainability Research Program
-
Cargill Global Scholars Program
-
GE Foundation Scholar Leaders Program
-
Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program
